Just a soft warning that there seems to be a very recent but significantupswing in Texas and specifically in the Dallas area. Be aware in yourown area. It's not even normal flu season but what has been normal aboutthis year. Flu shots are out but not H1N1 flu shots yet. We just had ourfirst local H1N1 flu death and she was a 52 year old woman withunderlying medical conditions. The number of cases of swine flu isn'tknown as Dallas county stopped accepting lab samples to evaluate in May.TCU reported 78 new cases on campus in the last two days (rose from 10cases to 88). Now, they may be reporting all flu as suspected H1N1 flu,but this time of year that may be a good guess. Get to a doctor quickly. It's not deadly if you do. It may be deadly if you don't. Tamiflu doeswork on it at this time. Antiviral medications are most effective iftaken within the first two days of contracting the

virus.

Oh Joyce I am so sorry to hear that. It seems to be going around in Orlando. There have been I don't know how many deaths. I think it has been mostly young people that think they just can't get sick.. says he isn't going to let me out of the house..lol My Dr said we should all get the flue shot as soon as it comes out then at the end of Oct we need the H1N1. there are two shots for it. Ya might know this the year and I have to get our Pneumonia shot. I'll be prayin for the children.
