Be aware in yourown area. It's not even normal flu season but what has been normal aboutthis year. Flu shots are out but not H1N1 flu shots yet. We just had ourfirst local H1N1 flu death and she was a 52 year old woman withunderlying medical conditions. The number of cases of swine flu isn'tknown as Dallas county stopped accepting lab samples to evaluate in May.TCU reported 78 new cases on campus in the last two days (rose from 10cases to 88). Now, they may be reporting all flu as suspected H1N1 flu,but this time of year that may be a good guess. Get to a doctor quickly. It's not deadly if you do. It may be deadly if you don't. Tamiflu doeswork on it at this time. Antiviral medications are most effective iftaken within the first two days of contracting the virus.
