Guest guest
Advice, please, all you lovely people! I would really, really love to do the BFC training and become a BFC for our local branch - which is seriously short of them. Our Chair is happy for me to do it, but is concerned that I won't have the time to do it justice. I am sure I can devote at least one session a week to the BFC helpline, that's not a problem at all - and I'm happy to give the local SureStart a go, too. So, what I want to know is how many of you have done/are doing the training and how did it fit in with your existing commitments? I have 3 children, and hope for another shortlyish, run a small business, edit the newsletter, and spend far too much time pottering about on the puter. Do you think the training would be too difficult to fit into all this? Nappies take up at least two full days a week, on average, with advice on the phone and in person on an ad hoc basis and little bits and bats here and there. I'd appreciate your thoughts!
