Have you tried taking probiotics and antifungals? Hope you feel better..

I thought you needed a script for that. Also, maybe you could split the probiotic and just take half or even a quarter. I think you've got to replace the good flora to beat this beast down. I did a google search " buy nystatin online " and theres a few online " pharmacys " which you can order it from. Ive read that its alot easier on the liver compared to Anti fungals, and its also very effective,. And i will give that a try just using small amounts of pro-biotics, i cant get much worse so no harm in trying, thanks.

Keep chelating to make this phase more tolerable, even if you > only take DMSA. I would say the first 2 months i felt " ok " compared to now. which is strange, since people usually feel worse straight after amalgam removal ? Can the dumping phase come that soon ? Yes i will continue to chelate, im using just ALA at the moment, as i dont feel as many side effects.
Guest guest
It sounds like gut healing is needed. There is a plan for healing a leaky gut in the book " Protein Power Lifeplan " . It would have to be modified because of your limited diet. Could you survive on chicken soup for a week or so? See the chicken soup recipe at this link: http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/beginners_guide/the_intro_diet2.htm and gradually add the supplements that are essential for healing the gut, like cod liver oil or fish oil plus vit A and D, lots of magnesium, glutamine, and then gradually add the other basic supplements that Andy recommends. After a week or so on chicken soup gradually introduce other things only as tolerated. Lamb and pears are often mentioned as foods that allergic people are likely to tolerate. Cooked carrots are part of the SCD chicken soup, and then other cooked vegetables are added, like cooked squash. (When I was having gut problems cooked meats and cooked vegetables were the only things I could eat). Digestive enzymes and Betaine HCl can be used to help with digestion and absorption. An IgE, IgG food panel may help to find some food that you can eat while attempting to heal the gut. Just some ideas. Your itching, leaky gut, and increasing food sensitivities sound like they could be due to a candida yeast infection. Poor adrenal function can allow a yeast problem to develop and persist. Supporting the adrenals when they are struggling will help you fight the infection. --

Do you have anxiety, fatigue, low blood pressure, dizziness on standing, poor stress tolerance, difficulty shaking infections, hypoglycemia? See Amalgam Illness for more discussion of adrenal problems. If you have any problem with depression, read Andy's post about it, since some types of depression indicate a need for adrenal support: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/frequent-dose-chelation/message/15287 > One says low and one says ok ? So not too sure.. what would you > reccommend for adrenals i will try to see if it makes some improvment. If any of the above descriptions of symptoms sound like you, then I would suggest a saliva test for cortisol levels. One place to order a test kit is www.canaryclub.org. You can post the results here for interpretation and suggestions. The test results will give a better idea how to treat the problem. For now you could try some adrenal cortex extract. Also, try 1/4 t. of salt mixed in a glass of water - if it tastes good (not too salty), then try doing it a few times per day. A better long-term solution is an electrolyte mix, which you can find with a quick search. Chelation is stress, infections such as candida are stress. Stress can weaken the adrenals, thus impairing your ability to fight infections and to heal during chelation. It's a vicious cycle. If you need adrenal support, it will help a lot. -- > thanks >
