Why is it necessary to avoid sulfer food? Does everyone need to avoid

sulfer? I read on one post that epsom salt baths infused the body with

sulfer. Are these baths not a good idea?

This depends entirely on the person. It is different for everyone. Low

sulfate test = add sulfate, vice versa but I am NOT the expert on

this....

I'm no expert, but wouldn't it be simpler to just take a sulphur supplement and

make a note if you feel better or worse?

Well no, because you would still be eating sulfur so what's a

litte more? Once you take it completely out of your diet for a few

days, the mercury is no longer being stirred up, so you feel

better. Then you eat something sulfury (eggs, cheese) and the

mercury gets stirred up again and the symptoms come roaring back.

Also, alot of mercury toxic people have huge yeast problems.

Sulfur feeds yeast. This is the only place I've heard that and its

true! I had alot of die off as soon as I took sulfur out of my

diet. It's also worth noting that I was eating an almost completely

sulfur diet before -

eggs,coffee,cheese,chocolate,broccoli,stringbeans...

The yeast in me was dictating my diet without my even knowing it!

Smart little buggers...

It's not that simple. You have to clear the excess sulfur out of

your system before you can notice whether you have a reaction.

Here is what Andy says:

I am reading Andy's book right now and very confused about this issue.

Epsom salts seem to help and my daughter a lot. We both have Lyme and

mercury issues. She has a very leaky filling right now.

Is there a difference between the sulfur from Epsom salts and the

sulfur you get in diet?

How can I figure out exactly how to supplement so that we are working

with our bodies rather than against them with this particular issue. It

seems so important when considering the phases of liver detox.

Sorry if I'm missing an obvious link/reference here. I'm not finished

with the book yet and have just begun to try to understand this issue.

We had a pretty dramatic week last week and epsom salts seem to save

the day regularly around here.

Also, is it necessary to also supplement with other forms of magnesium?

We still have our amalgam and can't chelate yet. I'm looking for ways

to support clearing of all toxins.

Thank you!

Hi Mark,

It is usual to feel better after eating a high sulfur food and to

crash afterwards, if you are a sulfur sensitive person.

Maybe you would like to read

http://onibasu.com/archives/am/195795.html,

for example.

You need to find the dteailed description of the ';sulfur food reaction' on the

list archives

or in my book Amalgam Illness ( www.noamalgam.com ).
