Home test kit for colon polyps-anyone tried one?

I have been reading several articles regarding proposed mass screening of UK

citizens for

colon cancer using a faecal occult home test kit.

Further to that I have ordered one online at

Does anyone have any comments or experience of these kits?

I realise that a colonoscopy is the gold standard, but would this test in a way

be a good first

step to getting the general public more aware?
