Guest guest
> yellow stool - what causes it? This is caused by reduced bile flow into the intestines giving it a green colour. Increasing your fish/flax oils to 2 tablespoons per day can help a lot. Other things can help bile flow are: milk thistle 400-800mg, Glycine 500mg to 1000mg, Taurine - 500mg - 1500mg, Phosphatidylcholine. I have found that increasing HCL in the stomach (10 drops USP 5% HCL in a little water at meals). It seems to darken the stools, presumably because it causes increased stomach acid and thus a stronger response from the gall-bladder to supply alkaline bile. I have not found this response with Betaine HCL. Adrenal insuffiency and low thyroid cause reduced HCL production in the stomach. Carbohydrates that remain undigested also cause light stools. Try eating more protein. I would encourage you to start with the oils. Safest route and your body needs these oils for so many other things anyway.
