Guest guest
Thanks Len....yep, I guess it's time for the gloves. I picked up some change in my car this AM and had to drop it. I have been able to walk around with no shoes, even outside, but now if I don't have shoes on, my feet hurt. So, shoes and gloves it is!! Thanks - hugs and prayers - donna Len Henell wrote:Donna, I'm real sorry to here your hands are so bothersome. I have started carrying gloves most of the time (even though it's 60 degrees out) and I have to drive with the gloves on. As for the sinus situation I have had almost no sinus irritation since I started chemo because the sinus reaction to alergens is from the immune system. Since the immune system is supressed the sinuses don't act up. Verta takes Tylenol Alergy Sinus caplets but she takes one Asprin with them because the tylenol doesn't work on her as a pain reducer. I just use the caplets when I need to and they work fine. You have to get the ones that have the antihistimine in them. Some only have sudafed and tylenol and they don't do much. Usually I just feel occasional tingles and it doesn't start right away. Today it was immediate and I couldn't hold the steering wheel on the way home. It has since subsided but now I know what you guys are feeling when you speak of it being so bad. I have noticed too that since the whether is cooler, it is worse. And, Marty forgot to mention the smell of the latex gloves.....that's what started it for me today! So after Wed I'll have 4 more left...I think I can make it!!! I have had horrible sinus headaches, I think they are sinus and not migrane. Tylenol sinus pills did nothing to help today...does anyone have another recommendation? hugs and prayers ----- donna --------------------------------- Yahoo!
