Guest guest
The antibiotic is working well on the infection. Phil's blood pressure is normal and his blood work is starting to come back into the normal ranges. We hope to meet with Dr. Rothman who can tell us what's next as the latest chemo Erbitux will have to be dropped and a new protocol started. The Local Erie pastors have been wonderful with many helping us and Mt. Calvary with pastoral care. God bless our church council who started planning for this in early September when Phil's health began to chamge. Phil's spirits have been down as he faces this setback and at least some form of limited duty. How does one give up his/her passion and accept all this? This is Phil's challenge. In the meantime I continue to cope. Since the doctor has not mentioned Hospice or started talking in terms of months we remain with the thoughts that Phil will indeed improve and the hope that he will continue to prevail in this battle.
