Guest guest
I too have been sickened by what has happened, and I am trying to keep calm about the future possibilities. DH is on a ship in Turkey at the moment, bound for Oman - he's scared stiff too but says not to worry. How can I not worry? I feel physically sick and cannot eat anything, but am trying to carry on as normal for DS's sake. I keep crying over the stupidest things and I'm worried that the depression I had just recovered from will take over again - I'm determined to stay in control, but it's hard. PIL's are on holiday in Canada to make matters worse, due home on Monday but who knows when they will be able to get home. I miss them so much, it would be good to talk to another older person about all this, my Mum is very reassuring and calm, but I miss my FIL's advice and comforting presence, and they must be worried about DH too. Support from friends is invaluable at this time, my best friend is E-Mailing me 2 times a day, bless her! Looking forward to Christmas when DH is due home for 3 months leave, let's hope things will settle down quickly and nothing too hasty happens. Hugs to all, lets help each other and stick together through this. Ruth

Like Kerry I'm praying non religious prayers and will try to remember to observe the silence at 11 pm. (we decided 11 am was impossible since we were in a church hall full of wild toddlers) Sue Hutchinson, Mum to 30/01/98 and Isobel (HB) 23/02/01 Just so glad DH was not in Washington or any where else in the states since he always seems to spend half his visits on internal flights.
