They are dangerous, and of no diagnostic utility. An essential elements hair test from Doctor's Data will likely give much useful information. They can be ordered without a doctor from www.directlabs.com. Mention the autism mercury group, or Moria's web page for a discount. The results can be posted here - see the file in the files section for details. It is easiest for us to see the results if you email the pdf or scanned copy to DeanNetwork and he posts on his hair test page. Andy's book at www.noamalgam.com/hairtestbook.html gives all details on what the test reveals. > I've read that tests are often inconclusive anyway. Is it important to > get baselines to work with, or is it more important to go by symptoms? > The hair test is the best place to start. Symptoms are most important. Andy's other book at www.noamalgam.com tells you about the myriad of symptoms that mercury can cause. > If I do test, I understand hair is best. The cost is fairly close to the above especially if you get the discount. > It's going to take some time to be able to afford all the amalgam > removals (again, no insurance) sio in the interim, would I do well to > take something like Algin to mop up the mercury that is likely > floating around inside? > Algin is of no use. The best thing to do is to prepare your body for healing. Look at Andy's " Diet - How to pick the right one for your kid.txt " file in the files section, plus the diet section of " Amalgam Illness " and start to determine what dietary changes are right for you. Read the Supplement section of " Amalgam Illness " and start on the basic recommended supplements. Determine if there are certain ones that are appropriate for you. Continue to balance hormones, as you have been doing, to optimize the doses that are appropriate for you. Cortisol needs to be at the right dose, there needs to be an appropriate replacement of thyroid hormone, and it is possible that others need to be replaced. Consider DHEA, pregnenolone, testosterone, progesterone. Guest guest
, Thank you so much for the generous response! I appreciate you directing me to the appropriate links as I am struggling through this maddening brain fog and knowing where to begin is quite overwhelming! THANK YOU!!!! Oh, I was wondering if it's okay to take iodine while one still has amalgams? Again, BIG thanks!
