Guest guest
Well was taking them for awhile, but they changed my bp med to maxzide ot something like that and in the info sheet that came with it, it read that one should stop taking Pot supplements because maxzide increased potassium levels. Evidently excess potassium in the system is as bad as low potassium. Blood test before last one said potassium was low, but I think this last one said it was with in normal ranges. These people schedule things and then don't tell me about them..GRRRRR. Like I should read their minds cause they are too busy to remember to tell me.LOL.. Yeah the what ifs are always there, I have them with my hubby too even now nearly 6 years later. But have resigned myself to knowing that we discovered his cancer too late to be able to make it go away. No I don't work too hard, Take care Hugs Jolene Re:Sharon and Donelle Jolene, Don't worry about the weight; it is better to have some cushion than not. Did you take potassium supplements? Mom did for a while and quit after she fell and became bedridden. I still have the " what ifs " and maybe always will. Don't work too hard. Guest guest
This really applies to everyone on the board. You have to monitor what your doctor is doing with you. You have to assume the doctor is making mistakes and double check everything. Those guys are only human and some more human than others. My oncologist was so impressed by how well my lung nodules were going away that he was ready to stop chemotherapy and set me free until I reminded him that I also haver a big tumor in my pelvis area. He had completely forgotten that. They get so busy with so many patients that it is easy to miss some very important stuff. Well, it's important to the patient but less important to the doctor who is young and pushing his career along at a brisk pace with all patients he thinks he can handle. Just keep your guard up.
