Is this dosage as recommeded by Andy C himself? Will dosing in the evening stop me slepping? Maybe? Maybe not? What brand do u use? i see tintures, oils and capsules are used....is one better than another? Sunshine

It is a very safe herb and the only way you'll know if it interferes with sleep is to try dosing them. Many people are able to dose thyroid hormone at bed time and sleep without a problem. Ashwaganda is a lovely herb because it helps support the adrenals (modulates them) while boosting the thyroid. Though I personally don't agree with the long term use of any herb as the body often become sensitive to it. Usually 6 weeks on and 2 weeks off is good. During the off-time you need to find some way of supporting them though. Dean
