Come to think of it, I've been feeling the same symptoms you've mentioned lately and couldn't figure it out. Never thought that it could be caused by P5p? What symptoms are we talking about here? The P5P should be more effective. Since too much B6 can cause angry agitation and lack of motivation, then I suppose switching to P5P might cause this. >Is there anyway this is possible? Dave. Guest guest
Sorry, I don't know what I was thinking - well, actually, I do, but the brain is just not working right now. I was thinking methylation support when we were talking about B6. The only symptoms I know of excessive B6 is tingling or even some numbness in the hands/feet. So, if those are the symptoms you experienced, then that seems a possibility to me. Guest guest
Like everything else, this is an individualized thing - everyone needs B6, but responses to high dosages are...highly variable - it is nice to hear of your positive experience. I will say that some do best with a combination of pyridoxine (standard B6) AND pyridoxal-5'-phosphate (P5P), since pyridoxine metabolizes into, not only, pyridoxal, but also, pyridoxamine (both forms offering their own set of benefits). > > > What are peoples experiences with B6?
