Guest guest
Don't hurt that snake! It's great to have him there to keep moles and rodents away! He's probably is not poisonous but keep your distance anyways. Better yet, catch it and send it to me I have moles! > > > > > > THERE IS A GIANT SNAKE IN MY BACK YARD > > > > IT IS SCREAMING THROUGH THE GRASS WITH HEAD UP HUNTING A TOAD > > > > IT IS ON MY PATIO > > > > IT IS LIKE 3 FEET LONG > > > > > > > > <help!> > > I'd move! > > uck, I hate snakes > > Kerri

(3 feet is hardly a giant snake. 6 or 7 I'd give you. If it's a toad eater it's probably harmless. Don't bother it and it won't bother you. i.e. don't poke it with sticks or step on it, etc. -Sara. Guest guest
Oh I wouldn't harm the snake ... I'm actually not afraid of snakes, it's just that I've never seen one in " hunt " mode. Most of the time I see snakes in out of the way places in the woods just lying around and looking pretty harmless. I've never seen a snake surf through the grass so quickly with it's head up, whilst poor toady hops madly away. It was something to see. Interestingly my cat was glued to the sliding glass door and clearly wanted a piece of the action. A quick Google search confirms that the snake is not poisonous. btw: Poor little toad did manage to evade the snake and live to hop another day. I realize that snakes have to eat too, but I would prefer they not eat the beneficial toads that are controlling the bugs. It's wild kingdom out there! Though I prefer it when the deer come to visit. Guest guest
Yea, 3 feet is a small snake. LOL! I have played with boas and phythons much larger than that. I just didn't want to laugh at anyone being afraid of a small snake. LOL! Georga Visit my new web page at www.ubahbookshelf.com This tag line space for rent. RE: OT > > As my kids would say. Guest guest
> breast, he touch his own..I was in stitches...that show is great > of kids I think.. Oh I've seen that one, yes, it was very funny. Most of his shows are intended for kids and I think that's why he seems like such a... " wally " ...LOL. I do think he's very passionate about his work and extremely good at what he does -- but I don't think I'd want him as an ambassador for my nation! I find the Croc Hunter movie really hilarious because, from watching all his shows, I know how he would do those same things IRL and what a total goon he's being for the movie. (Okay, should I be embarrased to admit we own this movie? It's, um, for the kids! Yeah! The kids!! LOL) -Sara.

Guest guest
While we do have poisonous snakes in the area (rattlers/copperheads), this was not a poisonous variety, and the dangerous ones are rare. I was just caught by surprise (we are new to the south and this is our first house).
