Guest guest
Sandy, I understand what you are going thru. I almost quit after round 6. I couldn't stand it any longer. I ended up getting a break because of another dx and that break, along with my daughter telling me that if I could put up with the " ex " for 22 years that I could handle 6 more rounds, I finished. You are on the down slope now girl. You can do it....hang tough.........hugs and prayers ~~ donna sandy391962 wrote: I understand that Donelle. I am trying to stay tough but these last 5 chemo treatments have made me sicker than the others. I had 7 weeks on the pump and 12 weekly treatments (1 more tomorrow) These last few have been the hardest. This is the reason I haven't posted lately. I appreciate you all. My doctor explained it like this, a marathon runner says the 23rd mile is the hardest and he says I am on my 23rd mile. He said for me to do whatever it takes to get through these last ones. He has been right about these being the hardest. I have been taking more pain pills and more nausea medication in the last 3 weeks. But I know it will be over soon. Thanks for your thoughts and concern. Sandy > > Welcome Sandy... > > Sorry I'm so long in responding...got " stuff " going on here...but wanted to > welcome you and acknowledge your spirit.
