It is an overwhelming task to understand it all. I've grown so frustrated and mistrustful of doctors - I trust fellow sufferers on the internet now much more than the docs. Pregnenolone is my wonder supplement at the moment. But like you, I increased it too fast and had a bad reaction. So, now I'm doing low dose and may try and increase it over time. Lee's book was helpful (only $14) and the canary test questionnaire made me realize that some of my symptoms were actually hormone related -- never would have made the connection before. For instance, I seemed to have aged alot in the last couple of years which is a sign of estrogen dominance. ugh. How long were you working on adrenals before you started chelation or were you doing both at the same time? Val

We've done a lot on our own, plus we've plunked down the money for some tests that turned out to be very helpful for us. Besides, I had underestimated how nice it would feel to just " KNOW " rather than stumble along " trying this, and trying that " . It's been a balancing act. We've had to go to the MD's office for prescriptions. But, yes, a lot of detective work here at home.
