My hemoglobin tends to run high normal & even out of range (16.0) last

fall. At the same time, bilirubin has always been low normal (.4).

Is there any significance to this, since old hemoglobin gets converted

to bilirubin in the liver & exits in bile? I noted this while

studying up on my fast Phase I/slow Phase II Glucuronidation, because

that scenario might more likely suggest highish bilirubin levels. My

iron/ferritin levels have not be tested. RBC, Hematocrit, & MCH were

also high normal, while WBC's (especially neutrophils) were their

typical low normals.

Other Comp Metabolic Panel results that are on the margins: chloride

low-normal 99, Alkaline Phosphatase low-normal 41, BUN/Creatinine

Ratio high normal 21.6, Albumin/Globulin ratio high normal 2.0. Vit D

was low-normal at 33 & I was put on Vit D, told this was linked to the

low Alkaline Phosphatase.

Always looking for ways to gain a little energy, so any thoughts are

appreciated,

Joanne

Joanne - I don't really know much of anything about the details of this

test. I am identifying one thing that Andy has mentioned in HTI, which

is that if magnesium (hair) is yellow or red low, along with alkaline

phophytase being below 50, then in addition to the magnesium and taurine

he suggets B6.

Here is the word on B6:

B6 does not agree with everyone.

Adult: 100-250mg with meals and at bed-time (3-4x/day).

If it works, worth experimenting with amounts. If not, don't jack it up.

If > 500mg 4x/day can get tingling & numbness in hands & feet.

If happens, stop and it will cease in a few days.

Not much, but it's all I got!

:)

Dave.
