Guest guest
Nope, I've still got some lead. I don't combine chelators, it's too much for me. I do one round DMSA, then one round ALA, repeat, repeat, repeapeapeat ... I've done 79 rounds all together - DMSA and ALA. It's about half and half. Average length of round, 6.5 days, but that's because my DMSA rounds are a lot shorter (5 days, used to be 3). Dave. Guest guest
Well, someone asked me off-list just a short time back, so I'll just quote my response: Hey there. Ya. I've made a lot of headway. I mean, I'm functional, basically. I'm not lying in bed staring at the ceiling any more! Unfortunately, stress tolerance is still not good. I am able do something, but I don't have much stamina. Sex drive is back, without being overwhelming like it used to be - which is quite a relief. Fibro-myalgia is also gone, but TMJ is still here (a bit better though). Main things I'm still dealing with are trouble with focus & concentration and limited capacity for concerted action. Basically, I think the bodily stuff is dealt with, but there is still a lot of mercury in the brain. I was pretty far down the line when I started chelating, though. I was beginning to have psychiatric symptoms (and I'm now a psychologist, so I'm pretty clear on what was going on - at least in terms of how it would be psychiatrically diagnosed). So, I did expect this to take a long time, and it has been slow and grueling, particularly at the beginning. It really took me 12 months of very insistent chelation (by that I mean, 2/3 time on, 1/3 time off) for me to see the first hint of systemic improvement - though I should point out that I haven't been able to get past 25mg. Also, I've had both mercury, lead and arsenic issues. Anything in particular you're concerned about, or wanted to ask about? Dave. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Posted by: " letsdetox " letsdetox@... <mailto:letsdetox@...?Subject=%20Re%3A%20Dave----how%20many%20rounds%20of%\ 20ALA%3F> letsdetox <http://profiles.yahoo.com/letsdetox> Mon May 12, 2008 4:56 pm (PDT) what symptoms did you have?
