I had one colon resection and they would not let me have anything for a week and no solid food for 10 days. Oddly enough I didn't feel like eating anyway. Fran, with several people waiting for surgery I am sure they would benefit from more info regarding the enhanced recovery programme and also the name of the special nutrient drinks.
