My Colonoscopy

Hi, I wanted to Thank ALL for your prayers and good wishess for my

colonoscopy today. Well had it today and all is clean!!!!!

I need to remind all again that the procedure is nothing!!!! It is

very easy to endure!!!! Did not have any pain and never felt a thing!!!!

The prep the day before (Sunday) was a pain. No solid food, only

clear liquids for the day. Started prep about 2:30 and was still

loving the bathroom at 10pm. Very sore bottom. I did the phoso-soda

prep. Gagged down 1.5 oz mixed in a little juice. May never touch white

grape juice again. LOL And followed with three glasses of water. Did

it again at 5:30 and followed it with one glass water and then decided

I would do the other two 8oz glasses with Sprite since it did say water

or clear fluid. Sprite is clear right???? Very Very difficult to drink

prep again knowing full well it was giving major squirts. Well it

worked so good that I still had the squirts in the morning. LOL No

drink or food after midnight. (sigh) Was thirsting to death by the time

we went to the hospital for the procedure. . But survived the ordeal.

Like everyone saids the prep is the worst. and even that is tolerable.

All I can say and had repeated to my husband since he was there to

listen that since I have been diaognosed with this CC I have had to

swallow some of the vilest tasting crap. CT prep drinks and this colon

cleansing prep. Yummy-Yummy!!!!! No normal healthy person would

willingly drink this stuff. But look what we have to do!!!!! But the

healthy wonderful results were all worth it and I am thrilled!!!!
