Oh boy, did I ever spend a lot of time and energy grappling with that. When I first fell ill, I had no idea what was happening. After some research on the internet I came to the conclusion that I somehow had developed SAD. I ended up owning 2 light visors and a giant light box in the end; I'd use them for hours and hours. I'd sit in the sun for hours too, when it came out. Tenacious, me (LOL). Didn't help a great deal though. I eventually tried antidepressants but they didn't help either. When I discontinued 2 years ago, that's when my adrenals crashed. I developed sensitivity to light among other things, and could no longer carry on with light therapy. Exercise and heat made me sick, though I'd long since resigned my gym membership because I was too fatigued to exercise. I'm hoping that if I carry on with my current regime, and chelate, the SAD will be a thing of the past. I had been hoping that thyroid support alone will help but I'm obviously having my doubts now. .
