Question?

What is an "air family"? I've seen that term used frequently, but never was sure what it meant.

Thanks

Hi all,Kristi reminded me how important it is for us as patients to be sure that someone knows how to get in touch with our "air family" in the event something happens. I know it's not something we like to think about, but I know that there are members or past members that we have no idea what happened to them and like a lost relative you are always wondering if they are ok. So, please be sure to let your loved one know how to get on the site to update us in case anything happens.Thank you for your consideration in this matter.Leanne Storchuip diagnosed January, 2003 Chicago

Adrienne

the "air family" is everyone who participates in this on-line support group

i think it even includes the people who never write to us,

we just don't know who they are

Adrienne, A few years ago we all met in Chattanooga and I think that is when I dubbed us Air Family becausewe are so much like a family. I do indeed love this board and all the members here.
