Guest guest
Posted by: " jodi2ben " nessy@... jodi2ben Thu Jun 12, 2008 8:52 pm (PDT) [...] >Absolutely correct Darren. And I am really concerned because the chelation is obviously stirring up the mercury - it was found in my RBC's 2 days after this particular round. Are you having any symptoms, ? [...] >Right again - I have all the symptoms of mercury redistribution, but after a year still do not feel any better and am still only able to tolerate 25mgs DMSA. I am not able to get past 25mg DMSA myself (or 25, now just 30mg ALA), but I have seen a lot of improvement. So, I wouldn't be concerned that you have not been able to up the dose. I am concerned that you " have all the symptoms of mercury redistribution " but " do not feel any better " . What do you mean about having symptoms of mercury redistribution? How do you experience that? What have you experiences as you have gone through this for a year? Any up phase? Any " stall " phase? Anything? Is it all just around in a circle? I ask, because I have seen cases of people who do get worse with chelation. In those cases, it was due to some unidentified mercury in the mouth. Why haven't you added ALA, even in small quantities? >>I ran the same type of test as a few months ago. (Mine were >>24-hour tests. Was your test also a 24-hour test, ?) >Yes it was a 24 hour urine test. It was done by Genova Diagnostics (called IWDL in the UK) and their tests picked up a whole bunch of other toxic substances. I'm curious what they were. Could you tell us? >I did the test after almost two days of chelating so the mercury should have been in full flow. Not necessarily. It could be chelation other things. Also, I don't understand this process by which DMSA might be cleaning off the transport molecules of the cells (which is what Andy thinks it does), in which case the cells would begin to dump things like arsenic, antimony, aluminum, tin, nickel - ie the things whose excretion mercury blocks. [...] >>(E) is not mercury toxic, symptoms are caused by something >>else, and the hair test results and other evidence is just >>coincidental. >>-> In my case, I am convinced that the probability of (E) is close >>to zero. Not sure about your situation, , but it's always >>worth considering all possibilties. >Probability of -10!!! I have a positive hair analysis, almost every symptom in Andy's book, and a very long list of derangements plus a bad response to chelation. , we have to clear up this bad response, if you have been doing this for a year.
