about 3 hours + From where I live in Killeen is it about 3 hours drive give

Fastest I have gotten to Austin in 1 hour and 10 minutes. Just can't force

myself to drive any faster. LOL....

I looked up Austin American Stateman.. they have a good search thing on

their obits. LOL.. Maybe Joe is ready this and will respond..

Anyway only one Savage listed and that was a woman... So he is still with

Subject: Joe Savage

I did a little research on Joe. He said that he lives " just north of

Austin " and about 2 hours from San . He was in a Clinical Trial

at the Cancer Treatment and Research Center, an affiliate of the

University of Texas at San . Does anyone on the board live in

this area? Do you know what city would be 2 hours north of San ?

He was so encouraging and upbeat when he began the clinical trial but

resigned to go into hospice care the last time he posted.

BTW: we did lose a Joe last August. But that was ph Sullivan.

His wife posted a message in August telling us he had lost his battle

after 20 months.

Thanks for taking the time to research the emails from Joe Savage.

And thanks Jolene, for checking the obits...that was going to be my

suggestion if anyone knew where to check in Austin. Thanks for being a step

ahead of

me!! LOL I'm sooo very glad to know that there is a definite possibility

he's still with us. Wondering if he's just very sick and can't even get on the

computer...

He was always so good about updating with us...eventually. Praying for

Joe... I don't know him well enough to call....is anyone going to call him??

If

Hospice is with him, at least we can get some kind of info. Makes me very

sad...
