Thanks for your opinion. > The answer - yes. ----So, has everyone that has chelated had the book before they started? I ask because I have everything, or so I believe, that I need to start. Just wondering if I should wait another 2 weeks until payday so that I can order the book. I am just READY to begin. I feel prepared. I've read and read and read some more. I've been researching the archives, moria's site, dana's site for the past 3 months. I've gotten all the recommended supplements. I just am ready. > > It is like going on a long journey into the unknown without a map. > The chances of getting lost are high even with the map. To go without > the map is foolish. To go with the tour guide who has been there > before (Andy) is the safest way to go. ----I do agree with these statements. But, I still feel like you can begin without the book. IF you know you will be getting it eventually. > > There is a substantial amount of information on the internet. That > shows how generous Andy has been and how much he wants people to get > better instead of worse. The information on the internet is not > enough. A person needs to book to refer to. ----I am very grateful for this. > > If there is some aspect that the person is thinking about (adrenals, > thyroid, liver, specific supplements) then looking in the index or > table of contents will tell them where to find the information that > they need. The explanations are much more complete in the book that > summaries on the internet. ----That's true. However, I have been helped so much concerning these specific issues by this group alone. Such as with thyriod, adrenals, and supps. I even found other groups for thyroid/adrenals to educate myself further. ----I am certain that the book is much more complete than summaries on the internet. And I will be ordering it. > > The cost of the book is minuscule compared to the other expenses that > we face (dental work, supplements, tests, doctors, etc). -----True. I've had dental, supps, tests, and doctors fees that have been hard to afford, but have due to necessity, and my beliefs. > I don't feel comfortable answering questions for people who don't have > the book. ----Sorry to hear that, as a lot of individuals on this board have not yet got the book. If they had, many, many of their questions wouldn't have been posted because they would have the answer. I see questions on here all the time that I feel wouldn't need to be asked if they had the book. Myself included ----I want to be very clear that I am thankful for being able to ask questions(because I don't own AI) and to have knowledgable folks here on fdc that help me tremendously. I don't understand why you would feel uncomfortable in answering questions for people if they don't have AI. Maybe they are new to this, and are testing out the waters. Trying to soak up as much knowledge as they can. And people like you could be just what they need. -----You have personally answered one of my posts in the past. And I don't have the book. You helped me, and you offered some insight. I just feel like that's the way it's supposed to be. I am not advocating chelating without the book. Just curious if anyone out there had/has done it, and did they end up purchasing AI? I already know that I will be buying it. Just not till payday Blessings, Summer > > J >
Guest guest
I just wanted to throw out a little comment on this thread: Summer, it took me a year to decide whether or not to buy Andy's book (I'm basically broke and didn't want to spend money if I didn't need to). Over the course of that year, I was reading this group's posts every day, plus getting info from elsewhere. I was feeling very confused on which protocol to try, but came to the conclusion that THIS is the protocol worth trying and sacrificing for. I bought the book, and having read it, cover to cover, I understand many things so much better (though I have a few questions I still haven't gotten around to asking in here), finding myself thinking it's money VERY well spent. I wish I had the book a year ago! The book is a necessary tool and you won't regret getting it, though you really should be ordering it now, IMO. : Donna
