Guest guest
Andy, thanks so much for responding to this. I'm not the person wanting to get pregnant, but I have a couple more questions, just so I understand this and can hopefully answer these questions in the future. I understand the graph on page 52 of AI, that the body naturally starts to dump mercury about 6 months after amalgam removal, and that this would not be a good time to get pregnant, and waiting 18 months would be the safest thing to do. But in this case she is talking about removing *some* of her fillings, not all of them, waiting a few months, and then trying to conceive. Then sometime after this child is born and she's done breastfeeding, then she would pursue having the rest of her amalgams removed. So my question is, if she only removes *some* of her fillings, does the graph on page 52 still apply? Does her body start dumping and moving mercury, even if she still has some fillings in her mouth? My understanding is that this happens only after *all* the fillings have been removed. Please correct me if I have this wrong. Also, you say wait 18 months after the last filling is removed, but you don't mention chelation. She can chelate during this time, right? But she would need to stop chelation before trying to become pregnant, so she's not moving metals while trying to conceive, correct? And I understand that mercury out, wait 18 months, then conceive is the best plan and what you recommend, but which would be the lesser of the two evils: 1) do as she suggested, remove some before and some after, or 2) don't remove any yet, get pregnant, and do all removals after done having children. I understand that this is a very touchy subject and that you are only giving us your opinion and that people have to make the final decision themselves, but your input and guidance on this topic is greatly appeciated, especially by me as a moderator, and not knowing what to tell these people in this situation. Thank you----------Jackie In frequent-dose-chelation andrewhallcutler wrote: > Thanks for having a look at my test. I am planning on getting my two huge all silver teeth redone and crowned in two weeks. I then will probably get a couple more done with my income tax return. Then give my body 3 months to recover before trying to get pregnant. Do NOT NOT NOT!!!! DO THIS!!! Wait 18 months after the last filling is out, or certainly at least 12 but 18 is a lot safer. See figure 15 on page 52 of Amalgam Illness. Your body moves mercury around for a yar or more after it can do this, and you don't want to be pregnant during that time. There is nothing you can do to speed that up. > Then I will wait until done breast feeding.. Then I will slowly remove all the rest as money permits (the treatments for my son's autism are financially killing us-but it is well worth it of course). You really don't want a second autistic or otherwise impaired kid. Mercury all out, 18 month wait, THEN try to conceive. > It seems like no one agrees on the amalgam removal before pregnancy. I am now a little scared to do it now that I heard about the one post that started having the burning in her head after amalgam removal. The dentist I go to uses a water laser (so it doesn't get hot). He has the special vents, and he seems very knowledgable on the subject. Hopefully it'll all turn out.. > > > __________________________________________________________ >
