I'm wondering if anyone > else's experience is similar. Yes, I have found this too. If I'm too low on cortisol, I can get depressed, fearful and listless with a lack of motivation. I also get dizzy. Guest guest Posted June 17, 2008 Report Share Posted June 17, 2008 Yes, everything that you are saying is very familiar to me. Be sure to look for all sorts of ways to support adrenals. I was amazed, for example, how much better I felt with simple diet changes, and supplement additions long before I ever was prescribed cortisol. Stress reduction will also help tremendously. One may think that stress reduction is impossible with the list of problems that we fact, but there are some simple things that we can do, like listen to our favorite music (my iPod is my friend), meditation, laughter, and so on and so forth. There are many helpful strategies discussed in the adrenal section of Amalgam Illness. I have to reread it all the time.
