He looked into the lab procedures, and concluded that he couldn't make sense of

what this test is really evaluating.

He also found that the test was no longer valid in relation to symptomatic

improvement on or off sulfur foods.

I understand that Andy has said that the Genova tests are not accurate

for Cysteine anymore.

Then someone recently mentioned that they thought this was becasue

they now do a serum test, not plasma.

Is this correct ? Can anyone confirm. I used a plasma test from IWDL

in the UK (a branch of Genova) and need to know how accurate this test is.

Andy posted about this on the amc list, maybe 1.5 years ago or so.

At that time, he said he didn't know of any lab that was doing a

useful test for this. So the only way to establish your cysteine

status is by dietary trial.
