Guest guest
While some supplements are truly different between manufacturers, it seems that ALA is not. At least according to our old friends Andy & . Dave. ---------- Posted by: " Darren " xbluehens@... xbluehens Mon Jun 16, 2008 8:43 pm (PDT) Aside from the benefit of having precisely measured doses, are there any advantages to using Kirkman's ALA capsules (either 25mg or compounded to specific dosing requirements) compared to the ALA tablets sold by the Vitamin Shoppe? Specifically, I'm wondering if there are advantages in terms of absorption, potency, and purity. Of course, Vitamin Shoppe ALA is significantly cheaper. But to get 12.5mg or 25mg, you have to carefully split the tablets. However, given the significant cost savings, it may be worth the effort to split them and sacrifice a small amount of dose accuracy, unless Kirkman's truly has better absorption, potency, and/or purity. Thanks!!! Darren
