I had to take three pills a day to build my levels up.. Do not have the bottle with me to know the dose.. I take Natural Factors brand.. Can check the next time I am in the pharmacy where i buy it ..Email me so I will have your email on hand if you need to know.. Hang in there Kai... Guest guest
Me with bad nausea.. I never took Taurine before the nausea stopped so it was the other things I mentioned before. Nanci > > Joy, > Also check out page 135 of AI for other suggestions for liver support. And on that same page, Andy lists ginger and glycine to help reduce nausea. And as Kai said, if you're not taking taurine, that could be a big one. > >
Guest guest
Hello Joy.. Here is my story with nausea... I had had antibiotics for cystitis then a week later I actually passed a round worm and took two consecutive doses of a parasite killing drug.. Two days later I crashed with the whole thing-- never to recover until now 33 years later. FIrst symtoms was the nausea and the overwhelming fatigue. Funnily enough .. I had been out shopping full of my good normal energy and all of a sudden in the middle of Eatons while looking at socks -- I just had to sit down I was so fatigued and I said to myself my feet feel like lear.. Little did I know !!!!! I do have high lead as well. It was not until 10 years that a doctor recommended HCL but looking back it was not enough to make any change.. Eventually I went to see another naturopah and he said the opposite to not take any HCL... I think at the time I even thought I felt better.. Dont know why now.. I had bad stomach aches and the gamit of digestive problems. and really thought I must have an ulcer.. It was nawing at me all the time and sure felt like one. I found manganese first which helped me sleep without the liver pain. Finally 2-3 years ago someone here or on curezone I think told me to try HCL again.> I was desperate and put aside my fear.. It made a difference immediatly and then I upped the dose to find out what is best for me. My doctor says I will know if I take too much.. There is a great test called the Heidelburg capsule test as I recall , which measures the amount of stomach acid in your stomach .. So either you can just try the HCL and see if you notice any improvements or take this test to see for sure.. Oh yah another thing is apple cider vinegar which helped alot too..Take a couple of teaspoons in a cup of water 20 minutes before eating I now take it once a day and that seems enough..I think apple cider vinegar is good for both too much acid and too little but would have to chekc that out for sure.. I would really suggest trying the lecithin too. I will post the hows of taking it later in this same post.. I hope you get relief soon.. IT is very trying to have to eat with such side affects.. it is a wrotten choice.. eat and get sick or get thin.. I was way too thin at one point and everyone thought I had anorexia... not much fun.... Nanci > > Actually, this is from Joy. Anyway, I too have had this problem for at least 20 years and it has reared its ugly head again. Doc told me way back that I had ulcers but am wondering if it is something else. My liver function test was apparently normal, but I have pain in that area as well as terrible stomach pains at times. Ginger & peppermint etc have not helped - I have not used what you have suggested. Do you think the types/brands matter? I am a little nervous about taking taurine after reading about it in AI. Are there supplements I should avoid? What do you think about the suggestion to take a rest with chelation? I appreciate your help as it is comforting to find someone who understands & has experienced this problem. > Joy > > > >
