Guest guest
Yesterday I posted about how happy I was with my very noticeable improvement after consuming some whey with the HC I've got. I felt that was due to the BCAA's in the whey, which AI says can help hypoadrenal symptoms. And my hypoadrenal symptoms WERE greatly reduced yesterday . . . But then came today. Today I did everything the same as yesterday. Took my HC. Took my whey. Also got plenty of sleep and little to no stress. My adrenal symptoms are way worse today. I've been " crashing " and unable to cope with basic functions of the day. This is just to say thanks for the pointer on researching sulphur food exclusion diet on onibasu. I have always been totally unclear on just what the signs are of a " sulphur food reaction " that he talks about in the book. Maybe others like me would be helped if there was something in the Files section detailing what that looks like. Because I've read the book and been on this list for months and never realized that I really could be getting sulphur reactions -- I eat eggs, milk, cheese, nuts, whey, broccoli, onions, garlic, etc. daily. I have a high sulphur diet, basically, and since it wasn't clear just what the " reaction " is, I figured I wasn't one of those people--after all, I love those foods and they don't make me sick to my stomach or anything . . . Now after searching onibasu on this, I see the pattern I got after ingesting the whey: happy, energetic, then libidinous (me yesterday), followed by low energy and depression later (me today, for no apparent reason). I'm definitely going to start that sulphur exclusion diet and do it for a week and see what happens. Hoo boy! I hope this helps! I can't believe I didn't pick up on this for so many months of suffering!

Why does the whey make you say that? Does it have sulfur? It has more readily available sulfur than any other food. >I'll look that up on onibasu. I always thought I didn't need a sulfur exclusion diet because I do eat so much eggs and broccoli and onions with no apparent problems. The problem with that logic is that we often tend to eat the foods that we are reactive to. The foods that are worst for us, are often the ones we are addicted to. >I really like those foods. Yes. >How do I know if it's an issue? How do you come up with the idea it's an issue based on my whey comments?
