i have just read a post re dmsa from china, saying that other things

could be added to it to make it unsafe, What i would like to know, is

the source of DMSA that is available through living network known, and

is it definitely a safe supply.I trust living network but do not always

have faith in some of the manufacturer's that are making the drugs.

Hi Dudley,

As Andy mentioned, we insist the pharmacist makes sure that the manufactures

of fillers and DMSA supply her with a certificate of analysis before

purchase to ensure that metals are kept to an absolute minimum (below

10ppm). Then we have a policy that we test the DMSA independently and the

latest batch was send to the lab last week Thursday. We should have the

results soon and I'll put a copy on the web when I receive it. This way we

ensure that the DMSA is tested twice and that no heavy metal impurities are

present.

So far we have had many people using the DMSA and no side-effects reported,

in fact everyone so far that has reported back is doing better than when

they were splitting capsules, presumably because the blood levels are kept

more accurate and stable with properly compounded capsules.

It would be good to get more feedback from any others that have used the

compounded capsules so far, and if side-effects lessoned with more accurate

dose?

Thanks,

DeanSA
