Guest guest
- here's my take on this.... 1 red. 8 outside of yellow zone. 9 high. No counting rules met. Antimony mildly elevated Arsenic mildly elevated. Lithium is below detection limit (try lithium orotate/aspartate) These last 3 do appear in mercury cases, but I don't see any other signs of mercury so I can't conclude that. From here, you would look at symptoms and see if they are consistent with mercury. Arsenic-For this: Take methylation enhancers (see below) You may not handle carbs well - Try high protein or even Atkins. If with mercury, you may develop MCS. In that case: avoid carotenes, eat grapefuit & take niacinamide .5gm 4x/d ALA chelation can also improve this, and it will also be a way of checking whether you have trouble with mercury or not. Lead is very high. You will have to chelate that for a long time. Use DMSA for 3 days a month. It will take some years. Ca/Mg is low ==> You have some trouble with blood sugar regulation. Low Glycemic index diet. Chromium picollinate (200mcg) Zinc 100mg divided doses through day. Perhaps some Vanadium & Bilberry. Na/Mg = .59, low ==> insufficient adrenaline. Tyrosine, Phenylalanine (take red meat or supplement) Methylation enhancers: TMG (.5-2g early in day), folic acid (.4-1.2mg, 4x/d) & B12 (several mg/d); NB! Too much methl donors can cause anger, aggression and lack of motivation. Try B6. Na/K fine K/Ca = .057, fine. Thyroid looks ok. Here is the deal on B6: B6 does not agree with everyone. Adult: 100-250mg with meals and at bed-time (3-4x/day). If it works, worth experimenting with amounts, if not, don't jack it up. If > 500mg 4x/day can get tingling & numbness in hands & feet. If happens, stop and it will cease in a few days. You can also try these supplements. The only thing you have to be easy on here, is the zinc, because I don't know how zinc behaves when there is lead around. (I believe you need a lot with lead also, but I'm not sure.) B50 or B100 once or twice /d Buffered C, 4g/d Mg, 100mg 4x/d and increase to 200 in a few weeks Avoid the oxide form, it's not absorbable. Mag citrate, malate, aspartate, or amino acid chelate are best. Take 100-200mg (adult) with each meal and possibly at bedtime. The amount used is adjusted to the max level that is not laxative. Ca should also be given so the ratio of Ca to Mg intake from all sources (food & pills) is somewhere between 1:2 & 2:1. Vit E, 1600IU/d CoQ10, 75-200mg/d Zinc, 20mg + 1mg/lb Flax Oil, 10+g/d (1-2 tbsp) or CLO (1/2 - 1 tbsp) Borage oil, 1+g/d (1-2 tsp) Milk thistle, 1-2 cap/meal Folic acid, 400-800mcg/d Make sure any selenium is in some form like selenomethionine or selenium yeast. Take 50-300mcg a day total. Try Lecithin, Choline & B12 to see how you respond. Dave.
