Guest guest
Hi. Is it true that hormone replacement such as hydrocortisone/Cortef or others can feed Candida or make it harder to kick? I'm happy now that I'm experiencing candida die-off, because that means I'm on the road to controlling it (no chelation yet), but I also need adrenal support. A Candida group says no hormone replacement while on the anti-Candida diet. What do I do?
Guest guest
I'm not really in a position to know, but I'm curious if they explain why. As I remember, you were on a low sulfur diet. If that's what you mean by a anti-candida diet, then you can certainly use adrenal support. If you are on some kind of low sugar/low grain kind of thing (I'm sure that's a crude understanding), but I don't see what the problem would be. After all, I'm pretty confident I've seen people on AM do adrenal support on diets close to ketogenic.
