Klean kanteen is made from austenitic (nickel-containing) stainless steel,

rather than the preferable ferritic (non-nickel-containing) stainless steel.

So it's not the best choice for someone who wishes to avoid nickel.

A health-conscious friend recommended klean kanteen when I had this
