Guest guest
Hi Dot, When I read your posts I could just cry. You are so young--true-- it worries me that you are more worried aboutthe years "they told you" that you have... they do not know that, only God knows the hour. I do understand how scary this monster of a disease is to us ALL but what a shame if we allow it to control the years we have left. They can be just the best because we look at things and people differently. I am 5 years and counting. I have been going through some rough days lately but am planning on my trip to Chattanooga. And am very excited about it. I will be praying for you to have peace and strength. The signature I am using belonged to Joyce Dalton. She was the most courageous, beautiful, fighter you can imagine. She taught all of us so much, how to enjoy our lives was very high on her list.God Bless You. Peggy Florida, IPF 2004and from my FriendLife is not measured by the number of breaths we take, But by the number of moments that take our breath away... Guest guest
Thanks Peggy, that is why this support group is such a blessing to me. I have not met a single person w/PF & I've only spoken to 1 on the phone "Jan" she heads up the support group n Houston. For this whole year, i think i've been in shock. I've been depressed. I've been planning my death...i guess you could say, getting things ready. But i'm not ready. I don't want to die. I want to live!!! And i want to find out what all can be done not only for me but for eveyone with this horrible disease. So thank you for sharing. Thank you to the group! God bless you all & i pray a miracle for us all! I don't want to just exist...i want to L I V E!! Miranda, I'm new by a week or so to group, would u mind sharing your story with me?
