Hi Kim.

Not hand pain but severe pain in my shins which of course did not

fit any sort of diagnoses. It went away with homeopathic

arsenic.. I also have severe knee pain only when I eat

strawberries and potatoes.. Sometimes it did not take very much,

only one bite .. so I am resolved to not trying them again

for quite awhile..

I figure everyone has their different parts these things come

out in..

Kim, praise God for your healing! My son had these finger pains for

about a month starting with ALA and worsening when we added DMSA, but

they are now gone. He started getting foot pain and stomping,

kicking a lot when we added DMSA and this is still going strong (on

and off) and it's been over a month.

I think it would be smart to stay where you're at with the dosing. I

say this because symptoms are not always the same after rounds -

especially if your body decides to start dumping metals from your

organs- and you certainly want to stick to the dose that gives the

least amount of discomfort.

In my son's case - 5 year old, too high of a dose has resulted in

over a month's worth of discomfort, this should not happen (and he

was only on 5mg DMSA + 10mg ALA). We actually had to take a month

off, stop DMSA altogether, and we just started ALA again last weekend

with minimal issues, but still some foot pain, kicking.

That's my 2 cents,

Liz

Kim, your hand pain may be peripheral neuropathy or related to

stocking and glove parathesia. It can be related to mercury, lead,

or arsenic as I have read. I believe this happens because the metals

are moving around and disturb the central nervous system.
