Guest guest
Thanks so much for writing. I know how busy you are and I love hearing about how well is doing. Her teacher in her autism class was so wonderful that I KNEW she was being helped with her language and never worried about her in the time that she was in school. We had a strong aba program at home and she was mastering goals all over the place. It's so hard now because her aba program is crap because she is having such a tough time at home. I starting working with her again today. I need to know that she is going to develop language pragmaticly. So I'm setting goals for the two of us. I know she's in the right place it's just so hard since I really didn't realize how far behind she was with her language. I'm going to wait until the middle of May to give her enough time to settle in and get to know her new OT and ST. Then I'm going to have an IEP to hit them up for another hour of speech, and either 4 more consult hours with her ABA therapist so that she can go to the school once a week or an itenerate teacher. Plus that month break too I thought that because she was special ed that it was a given that she would have a special ed teacher but I guess not Thanks BJ Hugs
