Guest guest
News blurbs from Sept 18-19 regarding the U.S. National Institutes of Health's cancelation of their proposed study on DMSA treatment for autism indicate that although DMSA may be helpful for lead poisoning, it may cause cognitive problems in the absence of lead, based on a rat study. Does anyone know Andy's take on this? He certainly emphasizes ALA over DMSA / DMPS.

And as says there, it is good to read the whole thread. Thanks for putting it in the Links ! You've got some great stuff in this Andy folder! -------------Jackie Links > Andy's posts, new folder, 2008 > Discussion of research papers Autism study stopped because rats got brain damage from DMSA?
