I am a dentist and next week will be my last to work due to progression of my disease. I have to look up the date of my diagnosis. We live in Shreveport, LA and just started evaluation in Dallas for lung transplant. I have been involved in study of new drug, Pirfenidone, and I got the placebo. I see Dr. Lasky at Tulane every few months and wondered where you were diagnosed.I was diagnosed in ms and had a second opinion there, but wanted an active reasearch university setting. Good luck with your lung transplant proceedure. Several here on the board have either had transplants or are in the processof being evaluated for transplant. I am also interested in getting together with a support group with others from the south-east. Hope you will p[ost photos and the like here. I am 28 years old and a mother of 2. I had to stop working May of '08. I was a Dental Assistant. I loved my job. I have been a assistant since '99. Are you a general dentist or a specialist ?
