Guest guest
, Please refresh me. Why are they staging you stage four? Your liver and lungs are clear are they not??? My reoccurant tumor was wrapped within scar tissue that was attached to my adominal wall. I asked my Onc if that put me stage four and he said no you are still stage three. I am confused and not sure what I am. Why were you staged at a four??? Love, Ingrid > Hi : > I just found your reply regarding Xeloda. Guest guest
, Thank you for answering. I did not mean to ask such a personal question. But since your cancer did not hit any major organs I cannot understand why you have been staged four. I am Praying for you that the tumor disinigrates with this chemo. Your support on this group has been amazing. Your upbeat attitude has been wonderful. Love, Ingrid > > Hi : > > I just found your reply regarding Xeloda. Guest guest
Ingrid, Considering the discussions and difficulties we have with this particular cancer, I don't think there's such a thing as a " personal " question....lol. All I know is that I was told any time the tumor breaks through the wall of the colon and actually starts to attach to other organs or structures, it's stage iv, period. As for my upbeat attitude, sometimes it's something I " put on " like a mask because it makes people around me feel better, which results in me feeling better. Kind of like whistle a happy tune, when I fool the people I love, I fool myself as well. Actually, though, it's not really a game but a mechanism to get myself out of the dumps sometimes so I can keep going and just enjoy my life. Thanks, Ingrid, for all you do here to encourage people and lift them up. Ingrid Lowe wrote: , Thank you for answering. I did not mean to ask such a personal question.
