Guest guest
Does anyone know what type of naming ceremony is available other than a religious one...which is not for me...cant bear to be such a hypocrite (total atheist I'm afraid). And before anyone goes into one...I got married in black, in a non religious ceremony! I want to have some kind of naming ceremony for my DS, but need some ideas, as I dont just want to invite people over for soggy sarnies and vol o vents (sp?). Thanks alot, Mum to rohan 6mths

Have a guest book so everyone there can write a message for Rohan in it. If you have special friends/relatives who would have been 'godparents' (we don't have them - and I'm a Christian - just not part of our service)and ask them to say a nice poem or speech about Rohan/you as parents. You can still have a cake to cut and nice buffet food (go to Waitrose and order their nice party food) HTH Caroline (who may have to do this next year because our church will be being completely pulled to pieces for the whole of next year due to renovations)
