Pl, do I need prescription for thyroid med like armour etc.?

Ok, folks, reposting this one since got no reply. Do I have to get a

prescription to get meds for thyroid issues? Meds like armour or

dessicated thyroid? This shall pose a problem for me since I have to

persuade the doc here in Spain to even get any tests done. I am

visiting in the States and was hoping to get saliva tests done from

Diagnos Techs and the like for both adrenal and thyroid but it looks

like I have to go thru a provider from their list (Diagnos Tech for

Adrenals - they are not doing thyroids for a while). What a pain!!

Can't I get the labs done directly on my own?????!!!!
