I think school is a very stressful thing for a lot of young children, and often home behaviour deteriorates dramatically.Last year things were much better by half term and this year I am already seeing light at the end of the tunnel. After school they are very tired and seem to want to veg in front of telly and and eat and drink so this is what we do the as soon as we get in.I try not to put any pressure on them (easier said than done I know) and try to be laid back. After about an hour they seem to come back to life and things are more normal. When they were younger and I had a long drive from nursery I used to pack a picnic and drink for them to have in the car .This seemed to help too. I think most children say they do not want to go to school at some point and it usual passes, but it may be worth having a word with the teacher to see how he is settling in. Good luck.
