Guest guest
On a video lecture at the Autism Research Institute site by called Results of DMSA Treatment Study (2007), it was noted that kids whose main problem is mercury tend to have low glutathione, whereas kids who seem to have certain other toxic metals (as tested in urine, perhaps inappropriately) tend to have high glutathione. I wonder if this could explain the issue of why some people need a low sulfur diet and others need sulfur. P.S. It's shocking that the position paper by this group doesn't discuss ALA chelation, and also doesn't cover the need for low frequent dosing of DMSA and DMPS (although it mentions that some clinicians prefer frequent dosing).
