Guest guest
thanks very much sunshine, i hope that was all saved so u didnt have to write it all out agian joanne Supplements in the UK > > thanks sunshine > just any contacts/resources u think wud b gud 4 sum1 just begginning > thank joanne Joanne…ok, I just did this for someone else so I will repeat it for you: I think you should keep things as simple and as straight forward as possible when starting out. So I suggest you use the supplements as per the Cutler book and Yahoo FDC group. If you go to the file section of yahoo FDC there is a basic supplement profile………….I reprint it here. These quantities are correct and are what I dose at. Taken from here: http://f1.grp. yahoofs.com/ v1/EGZfSIRFe0e5W TpXXUTQ69SHcQcpd TIgi1syoxoJT ndrEHjsbMuerF47kRWe CBb- SC_WMRdqo3FiXKHLn1P r2vQhEGJLHaPsQch vHXqo/Supplement s%20to%20use It is important to get quality supplements. Regular stuff from " Boots " is not ideal. Read the labels to make sure everything in each product is ok. ALA has a nasty habit of sneaking in some of the mutli-vit's. I get the majority of mine supplements here https://www. cytoplan. co.uk/index. html and the rest from here…… http://www.nutricen tre.com/ DMSA from here http://www.worldwid ehealthcenter. net/category. php?find= dmsa To make life easier for you I list the product codes and the company I get my supplements from. At Cytoplan website just put the product code in the search box. Buffered vitamin C 1/2 to 2 grams 4 times a day (Cytoplan 1045) B complex equivalent to " b25 " or " b50 " 4 times a day (Cytoplan 6620) Zinc 50-100 mg (Cytoplan 5585) Magnesium 500-1000 mg in divided doses (Cytoplan) Milk thistle extract 4 times a day preferably w/meals (Cytoplan) Vitamin E 1000-3000 IU daily (Cytoplan) Mixed carotenes, lycopene, etc. flax 1 tbsp - 15-50g borage oil 1-4grams Selenium 200 mcg as selenomethionine. (Cytoplan) Chromium picolinate 200 mcg with every meal. Molybdenum about 1000 mcg a day. (Thorne research from Nutricentre) CoQ10 100-400mg (Vitamin research) (what out this is mega expensive!!) (fyg: its pronounced cosy10) Hydergine 10-20mg/day I have had rotten luck with the oils, flax, borage & Cod liver oil (CLO). These oils have a regular tendency to go rancid very very quickly, even when kept in the fridge and used every day. This happens once they are exposed to air…called oxidisation. Since my sense of smell & taste is useless I used to consume daily these oils that had turned rancid. Caused me lots of additional problems which took a long time to figure out…..so I don't take those oils any more. I do take raw flax seeds instead. Just be aware and be careful. Re selenium….be careful with this stuff, some people react badly to high doses. Another way to take selenium is to eat 2 brazil nuts a day. It is better to take supplements in food form if you can. For each supplement start at a low dose and work up the dosage to the required level over 3-4 days. Introduce one supplement at a time so you can see any positive or negative reactions. This is really very important, so try hard not to cut corners. If possible make notes on any reactions so you remember what does what. If you have a negative reaction…..stop the supplement and try and figure out why and what it means. Ask here and someone should be able to help. I note the supplement list does not include Calcium which is commonly added…you can if you want to. Please note I am not a doctor or anything medical….i am just mercury toxic and these companies and products are what I use….there may be others that are better....these are just the ones I researched and I use. Anything else…just ask. Sunshine __________________________________________________________ Sent from Yahoo! Mail.
