I've been strictly avoiding milk, gluten, msg and aspartame for a few years now. People say that diet is difficult but its not. If you include avoiding soya then its difficult but so far i dont need to do that. ive also avoided nightshade family foods for a while. i went out for dinner the other day and found aubergine (a nightshade) in my food. i still ate it as its an intolerance not an allergy thats the issue with nightshade family foods. My fibromyalgia played up shortly afterwards. im not going to eat aubergine again. Another reaction was when i had MSG in a meal. i got really bad windy indigestion afterwards so im not eating that either. Its a case of trial and error. Unless the food is addictive then reintroducing it one at a time is the best way to go following a period of abstaining. This is recommended for people treating ADHD dietary wise as well. > > Dave. -- is
