Guest guest
Hi, I would like help interpreting my hair test # 203. The website is www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/hairtest2.html . I don't think it satisfies any of the counting rules. I have read both of Andy Cutler's books and have started chelating. I increased the dose of DMSA too fast, so I'm lowering it back to 17.75 mg next round. All of my amalgams were replaced as of July 21, 2008. My historical symptoms/details and supplements I'm taking are given on the hair test site. Main symptoms today include pain/stiffness in shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, forearms, neck (rheumatoid arthritis). I have tried to avoid drugs, but find that occasional Naprosyn use helps ease symptoms. I find it hard to eat a sugar free, sulfur free diet, along with avoiding other foods I'm sensitive to. The hair test shows that I need digestive enzymes, but what about betaine HCl? My CO2 blood test level is 24. My lithium is low, so I suppose I need that. What is lithium used for in the body? What other supplements do you recommend? My saliva adrenal test is normal. My Thyroid tests in October, 2007, were TSH <0.01 range 0.40-4.50 mIU/L so that's low, but the Free T3 was 742 range 230-420 pg/dL and that's high. The doctor changed my Armour Thyroid from 120 mg to 60 mg daily. The next TSH test came back at <0.05. I know now the TSH is unreliable for a mercury toxic person. I intend to have Free T3 and Free T4 tests done again this fall. I have not had hormone testing or amino acid testing done. I do have hypoglycemia and take 200 mcg chromium picolinate at each meal. When I divide the DMSA, I use " OO " capsules. Should I completely fill the capsule with magnesium citrate powder, or will just a little bit work as well to stabilize the DMSA? If I decide to switch to DMPS, do I need to start over with a very low dose of that or could I continue with approximately the same dose as DMSA? If I know that cysteine bothers me, does that mean autimatically that I should avoid sulfur foods? Thank you in advance for any help/advice you can give me!
