I really have days few and far between that I feel positive but I keep telling myself that the liver resection had clear margins so that is a good sign, right? I guess I'm a little scared after having the first colon surgery in 2004 and 6 months of adjuvant chemo and was just certain that all was well and that was the end of my bout with cancer. What a shock when I went for my first three month check up and found out that it had already spread even though I did the surgery and chemo. I guess I'm just preparing myself for the worse case scenario which I didn't do the first time. I also think that recovering from the accident and dealing with the cancer at the same time has really been hard to overcome. I will just try to take each day as it comes and I know that God is in charge so at least I am in safe hands. Thanks for allowing me to ramble Sue Hi Sue... I believe there is a fine line between thinking positive and facing reality... just try not to dwell on the " what ifs " ... get on with living life each day, turn it over to your Higher Power... until you are faced with a reality that then needs to be addressed. (Easy for me to say, huh??) Ramble on any time you want, Sue... Whose got the tape??? Just kidding...
