NO I AM NOT!!!!!!! > Caroline Best one I've had thus far was a woman who we were talking to on holiday, we had just Mari with us. She asked me if we knew what we were having and I said " yes a girl " to which she replied " oh, there's a shame " !! it was so blunt we just stood there in stunned silence Someone mentioned about having preferences for the sex of our babies: * when I was expecting I wanted a girl * when I was expecting Mari I wanted a boy * this time I wanted a boy But each time I would not have changed the child that I had - goes without saying I guess Also, for me, finding out the sex has given me time to adjust and bond with my babies as little girls (didn't have scans with ) and this has been important for me With this baby part of the reason for wanting a boy was because Gethyn's best mate died suddenly earlier this year and we felt a pressure to have a boy because of this so it has been easier to let 's family and Widow know at this stage that she's a 'girlie curlie'. I am happy with 3 boys and no I will not be " trying again " . I just don't think I " do " girls only boys. I always felt that the miscarriages I had were probably girls. Guest guest
I just don't think I " do " girls only > boys. I always felt that the miscarriages I had were probably girls. Exactly what i think here - even DH suggested this might have been the case. I think half the problem is that strangers don't know that you've had 3 M/cs and therefore whatever you have is a total blessing - boy or girl. I've just bought 2 bin bags full of newborn-1year boys clothes from ukparents buy and sell forum anyway! (for those of you who haven't dicovered this wonderful resource BTW do look at ukparents.co.uk (or is it .com?) there is a 'real nappy' buy and sell too , as well as tons of discussion boards.)
